Ark Encounter & Creation Museum Bus Tour
June 17-20, 2025!

Join us for an exciting, educational, and faith-building trip to northeast Kentucky to explore the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum with options to visit the Findlay Market in Cincinnati and visit the Cincinnati riverfront or take a river cruise on the Ohio River.

Cost: 

There are three parts to the expense, which you will select on page 3 of the registration form.

  1. The bus/trip fee:  $200 per person.
  2. Ark/Creations Museum tickets: Depends on age.
    1. Adults: $100
    2. Seniors (60+): $90
    3. Youths (11-17): $55
    4. Children (under 11): $0
  3. Three-night hotel stay:  We will be staying at the Drury Hotel in Florence, Kentucky, a 3-star hotel with excellent online reviews.
    1. Amenities: Swimming pool & hot tub, on-site “Kitchen+Bar” restaurant, Free popcorn and soda, Complimentary Hot Breakfast, Complimentary Hot “5:30 Kickback” supper.
    2. Rooms
      1. The hotel has mostly Double Queen Rooms and Single King rooms. For larger families there are a few two-room suites that also include a pull-out couch.
    3. Booking:
      1. Individuals are responsible for booking their own hotel room.
      2. Two options for Booking:
        1. Option One: Through the Ark Encounter Website.
          1. As of March 1, there is a special negotiated rate through the Ark of $100 per night, plus $18 taxes.
          2. This is a promotional rate subject to change and availability.
          3. Rooms are reserved using a credit card and there is a cancellation fee of $25. Must cancel by June 16.
        2. Option Two: Through the Drury Hotel Website using our group code #10144782.
          1. We have a block of 13 rooms being held for our group at a rate of $123 per night, plus occupancy tax.
          2. Rooms are paid at time of check-in.

  • Tuesday:
    • 12:00 pm         Depart St. John-St. Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland
      • One-hour stop for supper
    • 9:00 pm (*time change)         Arrive at Hotel
  • Wednesday:
    • 6:00-9:00       Continental Breakfast at hotel
    • 9:00 am          Depart Hotel
    • 9:30 am – 5:00 pm    Visit Creation Museum
    • 5:00 pm           Depart Creation Museum, return to hotel
    • 5:30 – 7:00      Supper at Hotel (Drury Hotel “5:30 Kickback”)
      • Optional 6:30 – 10:00: Bus Trip to Downtown Cincinnati (Newport) to go on the river cruise or explore the riverfront.
  • Thursday:
    • 6:00-9:00       Hot Breakfast at hotel
    • 9:00 am          Depart Hotel
    • 9:30 am – 5:30 pm    Visit Ark Encounter
    • 5:30 pm           Depart Ark Encounter, return to hotel
    • 6:00 – 7:00      Supper at Hotel (Drury Hotel “5:30 Kickback”)
  • Friday:
    • 6:00-9:30       Hot Breakfast at hotel
      • Optional: 8:30-10:30 Bus Trip to visit Findlay Market in Cincinnati
    • 11:00 am          Depart Hotel
      • One-hour stop for lunch
    • 6:00 pm      Arrive at St. John- St. Peter, Cleveland (*time change)

Meals Provided:

  • Three Breakfasts
    • Continental Breakfast at hotel, Wed, Thu & Friday.
  • Two suppers
    • “5:30 kickback” at the Drury Plaza Hotel (5:30-7:00 hot food), Wed & Thu.
  • Snacks and beverages will be available on the bus

Meals you are responsible for:

  • One supper
    • One-hour fast food stop on the way to Cincinnati
  • Three lunches
    • Wednesday at the Creation Museum
      • Several on-site dining options available.
      • You are also allowed to carry in food if you prefer to bring a sack lunch.
    • Thursday at the Ark Encounter
      • Several on-site dining options available, including a $19 buffet
    • Friday lunch, one-hour fast food stop on the way to Cleveland
  • You are also encouraged to eat before boarding the bus on Tuesday or bring along a sack lunch.
  • Several dining options are available within walking distance of the Drury Hotel if the provided meals are not to your liking.

Minimum Passenger requirement:

This trip requires a minimum of 40 passengers.
